And We Did!

The party is over much to my son's disappointment. He is such a social butterfly. There were games, food and entertainment. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was a beautiful day to be outside as well. The entertainment was Twistyman (www.twistyman.com). He came ready with much patience and lots of balloons that were made into all kinds of fun things. We set up little straw bales for a fencing ring and later for the kids to sit on during the entertainment part. Twistyman really kept the kids entertained and most important of all, my son. In every picture of our little guy, especially during the entertainment, he was just beaming. It was his special day and he was so proud and happy. He watched out the front window as all his friends left at the end of the party.

Since Saturday was not the official birthday, the celebrations did go on until yesterday which was the official day. I'm afraid today was a bit of a let down for my son as he birthday celebrations have come to an end.

Before the party we had to get the house and backyard ready. This is always a daunting task, but it does get it ready for the summer as well so that we have a nice space to enjoy for the summer months.
Now to plan the next event/activity for our family, but hopefully I can get some rest before then. Looks like Father's Day is next!

You are sooooo creative! I am so jealous.

What a loving mom you are! Your family is very lucky to have such a giving mother! Alos, how wonderful that you are giving Sam such beautiful memories. He will look back on these days with great fondness! What a great legacy to leave him!

As you know, the years pass quickly, so make the most of each day with your son. I can tell you are already doing just that.
